So, I’m thinking the chances of a 4e Dark Sun are pretty good at this point, I mean if you look at it, you have them printing new copies of the old Prism Pentad books, we have this whole “green” focus going on again like back in the early 90s, we’ve even seen some stuff in Dungeon. Sounds like the chances of this are pretty good. What are your thoughts?

I agree but more because, as I said, that after re-reading the Prism Pentad, Shadow and Psionics, if that what PH3 is going to be, are very much so Dark Sun. I don’t know what other settings those fit as well, unless they are doing a new one.

Who knows what Wizards will choose for the 2010 campaign setting: Greyhawk and Dragonlance are mentioned far too often when I see people bring up this topic on other boards. But every time I see a survey on other sites, Dark Sun comes up with a fervent following. I’d certainly like to see Dark Sun 4e because it’s so very different from the other environments.

My guess would be we will see a 4e Dark Sun. But I do not think it will be next year. I am guessing next year will be Dragonlance, since it is apparently the 25th anniversary of DragonLance next year, and the Player’s Handbook 3 has a minotaur on the cover. I think the year after 2011 would be Dark Sun’s 20th anniversary, so my guess is that is the year we will see 4E Dark Sun

I think the chances are fairly good that Dark Sun will come out in 2010. Mostly because I AM FROM THE FUTURE and I declare it so!
