I find this interesting, because I remember a long time ago that the idea of making the Monk a psionic flavored character was floated, and generally supported. (Monks were excluded from DS3 more becaues their resource indepenance seemed to throw them way more out of balance with the other classes … reasons I much later decided were thoroughly flawed, but never managed to correct officially)
