one player in my Dark Sun campaign makes portraits of characters in our group for bonus XPs. He earns his living as a graphic designer so the results are very professional. He allowed me to offer them here as a possible illustrations for www.athas.org products (we regularly and gladly use).

The elf and halfling are insanely realistic and the belgoi and I like his take on the belgoi and dwarven banshee.

He’s contacted and on board. Exactly which project is not decided, but there are other projects in greater need of art than ToA – which we have an illustrated version draft for now.

Astounding! I’m impressed with the colors and textures of the Dwarven Banshee’s armor, and for the design of the dead creature for the Half-Giant pic (not to forget the sand below it…so difficult to have sand that’s not Hollywoodian).

“His friend Tithian” your elf thinks highly of himself. Mateej, your friends work still amazes me, tell him to keep up the good work regardless of what subject he’s working on.
That does bring up a question, at least from me, what other work does you friend do? Does he have a website or On-line portfolio we could see?

Except for Mark, which was doing B&W picture, he is the first to reach the kind of feeling Brom gave us of Darksun.

This are fantastic and extremelly professional. I would strongly (yet humbly) suggest that he sends them to Imagine FX magazine. I bet my bottom dollar (or whatever currency you happen to favour) they’ll feature him…
