[1e/OSRIC] Apocalypse (Marvel)

I am going to be converting the Expert Set modules Master of the Desert Nomads and Temple of Death to 1e and modifying them to fit Dark Sun. The prime villain is inspired by Apocalypse from Marvel Comics. This Athasian version of the Master of the Desert nomads has been alive since the early Dark Sun age and is undergoing a transformation akin to the Sorcerer Kings (whom he despises) except it is psionically fueled. The actual Master they will be fighting will be severely weakened due to his inhabitation of an inferior body (unable to contain his energies), and thus with skill 10th level characters will be able to defeat him. Right now I am trying to figure out what classes to set him up with (he is human), a few levels of Gladiator is given (for those who have read Origin of Apocalypse this will make sense) but what else I am unsure of right now. I will be using the 1e Psionic system, but some Dark Sun classes (except psionicist). |

Master of the Desert Nomads and Temple of Death are great old adventures! Never ran them, but they were prized items in my teenage game collection. I don’t remember them well enough to make many suggestions though. My only suggestion is to put as many DS elements in as possible: |
