Now that the WotC boards have restored the DS subforum, I was wondering what peoples’ preferences are for where to hang out. It was great to see the Arena appear so quickly and it has made for a great safe-haven for the DS community. But now that the WotC DS boards are back, are folks going to migrate back there? Or did the restoration of the subforum there come too late? Or is it a case of “the more the merrier”? Just wondering what folks think :-)

I’m still here, the Arena has the benefit of not being under corporate control. Here we have the freedom to discuss things however we want with only the slightest of fears from WotC. One of the greatest fears I have is a possible attempt to bury the older editions under the rug of 4th edition.


I’ll still check in on the Wizards forums, as it truly is the gateway for the newer generation of gamers to discover Dark Sun and a place for other schools of thought to add their ideas to something we (the Arena) may not have even thought of. To me here is the home of Athas.

I’ll be in at both. I do see some advantages to the WOTC forum, mainly in terms of formatting in posts for those of us with no html skills!

Evolution made sure the brain’s memory process does not set down the experience of pain as a recordable memory. Otherwise a moment of daydreaming on an old memory might put you on all fours vomiting!

I’ll remember this one again. Drunk 800 mls of full strength Vodka more or less and vomited, got taxi home vomited on the way (not in Taxi), and then watched Terminato:Sarah Connor chronicles and vomited again.
Screw that I’m never watching Terminator again:)

The Terminator bit was the next day. Couldn’t move until 1:30 pm.
