Dragon's Nest?
|
|
I was looking at one of the DS maps on the web: |

|
I believe that is supposed to be the Dragons Tooth from the first book of the Tribe of One series. If I remember correctly, the Pyreen that found Sorak was making her annual pilgrimage to the Dragons Tooth. Looking at that map makes me think it is not the offical map from the original campaign setting or the revised one either (I haven’t looked at my maps for a while). |

Dragon’s Nest could refer to the area the Dragon of Tyr uses to fuel the rituals to keep Rajaat imprisoned. |

Jon is right (he’s an oracle), it’s the place where Rikus travels to in the Prism Pentad novels, it’s a kind of collapsed volcanic caldera, filled with the bones of all those offered as part of the Levy and killed by the Dragon’s life sucking. I’m unsure if it’s a location limited to amassing the living Levy of nearby cities, or of all the cities, although the latter would be silly in it’s scope. There are probably several other places just like it near the other cities, and one place near Eldaarich/Kurn. |

Ah yes. The place where Hamanu sends his share of the SKs levy. I remember the Crimson Legion and the army being there. Where is the Dragons Tooth that I was thinking of then? |

The Dragon’s Tooth (really? can’t recall the name) from the opening pages of one of the ToO novels, is a place the author invented, location unknown. |

What was so special about the Dragon’s Tooth? Why did the Pyreen go there? |
