Always been a fan of the color and style of Incarnum…but never found a place to fit it in. Any suggestions for the role of Incarnum in Athas? Seems a neat fit for a lost art or the like.

You sir Arkham happen to be the first person I’ve ever heard of that likes the style of Incarnum.I was always wondering if there were any fans of it out there.
To be truthful I don’t know why but magic of incarnum gives of a feel of misery in my eyes so it was never my cup of tea,but I think its tone really suits the athasian standards.

Maybe in the dead lands there are some unknown organizations that use incarnum or better necrocarnum forces. It is easy to incorporate incarnum in an athas campaign as it has many gaps in its history that could fit a lot of “new” heroes (if those heroes weren’t that important or kept a low profile).Another region I think that incarnum would fit thematically is the last sea.

IMHO Incarnuum does not fit Athas, or at least the Tyr region.

I always found incarnum, with theyr “soul-related” powers and the chackra, fitting in a oriental-like setting.

Maybe it could be included in Athas, developing an oriental-themed region, far from the canonic Dark Sun places. Maybe a place wthout magic, where there are only the power of the mind (the way) and the soul (incarnuum).
