Some of you will know my Athasian art already, Dark Sun and Spelljammer are my two fave D&D settings so I’ve been making art on them for some years now.

Dude… You have great ideas. Your composition is great, your level of detail on the modelling and posing is very good and your atmosphere is not too shabby!

However… ditch the crappy software and render engine. Those images are gagging for some more post production and a real render engine rather than a Bryce style one.

I only tell you this because I believe your images could be as good as any other made by any pro out there. If you need any help of advice, please do let me know. I think you could be a truly amazing illustrator for DS!

I use Vue Infinite, not Bryce, fyi ;)
I also own Lightwave (bought 8 and upgraded fre to 9.6) but have never got round to learning it, never enough time, health is bad etc etc, only one of the “Big apps” who’s interface didn’t drive me totally crazy, sigh, but still no actual fun to use, unlike Vue (and Bryce).

Easy to dis Bryce but, importantly, it’s enjoyable to use. Also doesn’t cost £4000, lol!!!!

at moment I’m more into Spelljammer and general D&D art, but need to get back to Athas at some point ;)

doubt I’d ever do an Avangion, sorry, I like the more hard core original 1st boxed set and loathe much of the metaplot, “official history” etc afterwards ;)
