Nibenay moves after Dregoth ascending

From the river to the sea. Who’s to say that is the end of his plan? After he’s the big wahunni in Athas he can expand his faith to other polities with his back yard to fall back on. Much like Lolth… :spider: :spider_web:

Dregoth was caught by the same affliction that affects almost every other undead on Athas. The inability to adapt. I’ve actually added a trait to some undead that let them adapt so they can advance but Dregoth at the time of his death was still looking for ways to complete his transformation, become a god, and lead his chosen people into a new Blue/Green age. Everything he did while undead was tied to those goals. He simply couldn’t change a short time after his death. He came back to Athas because he had to. He was simply stuck.

In my world, once he completed his god spell (failed), the energies completed his transformation and returned him to life. Once that happened he took stock and realized he would never achieve all those goals. He had lost easy planar access, but he could still transform people into Dray, he could still usher in a new Green Age and perhaps after that a new Blue age, and he set about doing just that.
