I am a long time dnd player having begun prior to second ed in Canada
and continued with 3.0 and 3.5 and Pathfinder, and later dnd versions IN Australia.

Initially I played in Greyhawk for many years and home grown worlds before trying 2nd ed Darksun. I loved the gritty sweat invoking setting which was reflected in my back patio, where we chose to play in 40 plus degree heat in Perth. I combined the old battle system from 2nd ed with Darksun to convey a world in upheaval.

I now live in the Great Southern (Esperance), which is cooler in general ut lacking in players. I still hope to gather a small dnd group and play once again in Athas under a Darksun but in the meantime I will haunt this site and content myself with occasional games of Necromunda using Yaktribe rules.
