This all started as a doodle of Celtic-Iberia(ish), and then I thought, “Why not add the Athasian Palette to it and go from there?”.
The stoney-barrens, badlands, mountains and sand-dunes are individually drawn; I tried for the trees, but, it wore out my brain so I just copied and pasted the rest. I need to find an easier way to make trees; even with colored-pencil and paper, they were tedious.
The map-legend is from Hexen (oh yeah).
My greatest challenge, was, actually finishing the map (it’s not finished; I can always add MORE). I quit with the names because I kept thinking of using the Athasian-Palette and symbols for a map using Tolkien’s names in some sort of pre-Cleansing-War game and such.
