So my players wanted to buy animals for the latest adventure, which I plan on running in Celik. As we’re all aware of the fan canon, Celik attracts beasts. I figure that subduing monsters could be a fun way to pay for training or for party members to make a name for themselves.
But… damn. 2e had prices for some livestock and other animals, but not much. After looking through the Gladiator’s Handbook I noticed that the one kit gets a sale according to XP gained… it’s a 100 xp to a silver piece. Taking that into consideration, I pulled a bunch of creatures that could be found for sale or to be sold and then made sure that there wasn’t a canon price conflicting.
Here are the results (at least until I look at later editions and muse a bit more).
