In Burnt World of Athas - City State of Tyr, there is a link that got unfortunately autocorrected to "Under Try: Alley of the Muse.”
While I’m here, and so as not to clog things up even more than I already am, I’m going through all of the Products, and I notice that all of the 4e products are tagged DS4, but nothing else is so tagged. It would be very useful to have DS1, 2, and 3 tags as well. (I’d be happy to do it if I had access.)
I should…not make a new post for each error. Oops.
- Typo on Burnt World of Athas - Dark Sun Expanded and Revised Campaign Setting : City-State of Uik Map (“Uik” > “Urik”)
- Burnt World of Athas - Adventures in the Dead Lands should be linked to from Burnt World of Athas - Faces of the Dead Lands. And Faces of the Dead Lands should be linked at Burnt World of Athas - The Emissary.
- The “Where to Buy” links at Burnt World of Athas - Ianto's Tomb: Dark Sun Comic are all defunct. MyComicShop is perhaps a usable substitute.
- The “Podcast Reading” link at Burnt World of Athas - Scale, Tail, and Claw - The Reptilian Peoples of Athas seems to be broken.
- Ditto Doomspace - The Cataclysm of the Dark Sun fiction and Bone, Stone, & Obsidian podcast at Burnt World of Athas - The Crimson Sphere.
- By the way…why does Burnt World of Athas - Crimson Sphere - Random Encounter Tables print like crap? I was going to PDF it, but it looks terrible; nothing like it does on screen.
@flip If you please.
While we’re at it, I’ve started reading the old articles, and the various site redesigns have not been kind to them, messing with the formatting severely. Again, I’d be happy to help clean them up if needed.
I fixed the Uik map issue.
Fixed the Ianto’s Tomb issue and redirected to MyComicShop
The podcast feed is fully down right now. So that’s what’s wrong with those two readings. When Flip gets them back up they should resolve correctly.
This is correct. What was your issue?
OK, these should be fixed.
Isn’t it supposed to say “Under Tyr”, not “Under Try”?
oh, totally missed that. lol
Yup, its a sneaky one! ![]()
I just did this. Let me know if anything you notice is not correct.
Flip is looking at this. It requires a rebuild to a print stylesheet. So he’s going to get to it when he can.
Looks good! The only issue I saw is that Burnt World of Athas - Terrors of Athas is not tagged.
Also: SSI is listed as a publisher in the drop-down, but has no entries. Did the video games manage to get deleted? (On that note, I just discovered, on the Forgotten Realms wiki page linked below, that Baldur’s Gate II includes a Dark Sun connection.)
While I’m here, I noticed an omission in Magazine Articles. As Athas | Forgotten Realms Wiki | Fandom notes, “Baba Yaga’s Dancing Hut” in Dungeon #196 briefly mentions Athas (on p. 52 of that adventure, in room 44). It’s important though, because it establishes a canonical way to get onto (or, perhaps, off of) Athas.
OK, fixed Terrors of Athas.
RE: SSI, they never got added.
RE: Baba Yaga, this index is for full articles only, not just mentions.
Could that be remedied?
Okay, that makes sense, but it seems that it should be in a list somewhere, as it’s got important Dark Sun-related information. Similar to things like The Complete Book of Elves.
Sure. If you want to help please send me a cover image, plus the “backcover text”, date released to Raddu@athas.org.
Add any other links that would be appropriate from the product (where to buy, walkthroughs, articles, etc)
- Burnt World of Athas - Mind Lords of the Last Sea is a Boxed Set, I believe.
Not tag-related, but:
- Burnt World of Athas - Earth Air Fire and Water should have commas.
- Burnt World of Athas - Blood Sand Arena : “Bloodsand” is one word.
- The semicolon in Burnt World of Athas - Deserts of Athas; Dungeon Tiles should be a colon. Also, I think we can take the “will be released” info out.
- Since we have Burnt World of Athas - Campaign Map: Dark Sun City of Tyr Map, should we not also have Dark Sun Desert Map | RPG Item | RPGGeek and Dark Sun Campaign Map | RPG Item | RPGGeek?
- Aren’t we missing City Under the Sand and Under the Crimson Sun?
By the way, is there a way to hack the URL to use multiple tags at once?
Good catches! These are all fixed/added.
By the way, is there a way to hack the URL to use multiple tags at once?
I don’t know, maybe @flip knows.
