Why is the converted creature catalog relevant to our work? The stats are of dubious balance and, IIRC, there is nothing Athas related on it.

@Bdmdragon, my man, I hadn’t heard of this before, and I wanted to see what this resource is like. And if people want to be helpful and send things they think which might contribute, of course I’m going to be grateful and gracious.

Besides, I’ve had to look up at least half a dozen monsters from elsewhere in D&D so far for the Faces list already for adaptation. If I can find some better entries for undead spiders than what I’ve found so far, that’s a help, for example.

You mean that the converted creatures have the wrong CR assigned? Or that they are not accurate conversions? I can’t speak to any of that, but the EN World Creature Catalog did convert a lot of the older edition creatures that were left behind. There are quite a few elemental creatures, btw, of very high relevancy.
