So say you had a Rhulisti Halfling Bard 5 / Life-shaper 10 / Nature Master 5 at the end of the rebirth become a Pyreen via Pristine Tower or how ever they did it. Would said Pyreen stay as a Nature Master with said levels. or would they lose them?
Feels like a DM decision to me. If they wanted to, the new pyreen could retain the old character’s levels, or start blank-slate with a newly-minted pyreen.
Here is another thought. Could a nature master with the epic nature bender feat transform themselves into a Pyreen? Interesting thought was Rajaat a Nature Bender?
Life Shaping Handbook (on athas.org), page 16. Epic Nature Bender.
I wondered if the feat existed. Searched Legends of Athas (epic stuff), found a comment directing to the Life Shaping Handbook. Wondered if I had that file, found out that I did.
Much searching on my end, and it involved a file I forgot even existed. (Granted, if I didn’t eat the same things every day, I’d forget what I had for breakfast…)
Thus, he’s not “Gen Zero”, the generation that transformed through the Tower. Instead he’s a first, or second, or more, generation kid.
He’s also said to have studied Blue Age knowledge so as to develop sorcery, which he wouldn’t have needed to do had he first-hand experience and knowledge in the field. There were still halfling practitioners of lifeshaping until quite late in the Green Age, and he needed not to look far. Of these, only the rhul-taun now remain, and the halflings that served Rajaat, the shadow people.
Yes I know. He was born in Free Year –13,766, and it was the rhul-taun who gave him his knowledge of life shaping. They are also the shadow people since some of the rhul-taun followed him to the tower.
