I took the base-map from the World Dream-Bank as Earth, with some of its water removed (Siphonia), and created a little Dark-Sunesque map.
Lets just say, this map takes places in the future; so far, there’s nothing left of our present, really. I imagine a hotter, drier Earth; I was going to make it into a standard Dark-Sun map, but, I liked the colors and the filters.
Polis: No magic or Dragon-Kings rule here; each city-state, is ruled by a Pscionic-King; there are several different species of humans here; a sort of caste-system.
Wanderer’s Journal:
An-Ka Desert is a high, cold desert.
Xo-Island, Dra-Yok, and Al-Waun: are all jungles. Al-Waun has colonies from the mainland city-states that mine for metals.
Karon-Wastes: vast, volcanic-lands with little to no vegetation or water.
Taur-Vale: Forests, and a climate much like Alaska.
And I forgot to label the southern-most city-state; that’s important because it has canals that allows trade via the Hau-Sea.
