I saw the adds in Dragon, and I saw the box when it hit my hobby shop, but it looked to me like a game for power-hungry munchkins. My players wanted it, so they bought it for me… and that’s when I realized how wrong I was and how right my friends were. I loved the way the designers turned D&D upside down and how they combined the concepts with a tremendously rich narrative and ecosystem. Fantastic.
