For me the half-giants, though the kreen are a close second. I just love the variable alignment mechanic.

i would say for me is the mule and half gaint.

As a player, I loved how the 2E thri-kreen was such a unique race. I’m less impressed with the 4E and 5E bipedal version, just because my whole reason for playing a kreen was to be atypical.

From a development standpoint, I love how the halflings are so completely inverted as a race. The roleplaying possibilities presented by this race with the stature and appearance of a child, but the wild cannibal nature… that’s awesome.
