There was thread a little while ago about musical traditions in Dark Sun. Gave me an idea of a thri kreen playing his chatka like castenets and using a zydeco technique. I will admit the latter I should have left out the rub or scrub board and just use chitin. It did look cool though.

Love it! Could also have kreen beatboxing, or making instruments out of dasl. Iād guess their musical sensibilities would be very different from mammalian ones.
This got me thinking though. Since we know kreen actually breath from below their first set of arms, how do they make noises for speech with their mouths? Or do they produce them either partially or wholly from somewhere else?
