Are there plans to develop the whole globe of Athas, or are there areas still “unplanned”? I’d like to rework and post some of my old notes on distant areas, but if possible I’d prefer to place things in areas that aren’t about to be developed.

There’s plenty of the map that still not planned to be detailed at all. But, you should post everything, as you never know what blend well what what’s planned, or what be useful for everyone else.

Well I basically have notes on two and a half.
The most developed was meant to be north of the Silt Sea, but from the Anattan map, it doesn’t look like there’s nearly enough land there to support that.(The Wanderer’s Journal describes additional ranges of Ringing Mountains north and south of the Sea of Silt, I was building off that comment.)
The other is very far away, set near the Arctic circle - a much colder region, where water is more available but the land is actually harsher in other ways.
The third, barely sketched out, is an extremely high mountain range within the Crimson Savanna/Kreen Empire - if the Savanna is an old ocean floor, this would have been a Hawaii like archipelago during the Blue Age.
(I also have some smaller bits, but they can be dropped in pretty much anywhere - there are meant to be villages, oases, and merchant house outposts on the Tyr Region that aren’t shown.)
