Yep. New Vision = Re-Imagining for a modern audience, clear as day, who ironically were never fans in the first place. This Dark Sun will resemble the old in name only, sadly. Won’t be buying.

Yes, many defending the changes can’t see the irony in their own arguments or admit WOTCs irrational justifications & rationalizations for the changes. They cut critical elements out for warped ideological reasons. I think they shot themselves in the foot with this blunder. We’ll see.

There’s definitely some things to be concerned about, but in reality we barely know what the actual contents will be. Too early to say IMO

When someone that has a criminal rap sheet of 50 crimes over 20 years appears in court, we should at least hold open the possibility that he did not commit the crime this time. That said, he is not getting the same benefit of the doubt as someone without a criminal record. The same applies to WotC.

Hell the utter bungling of Spelljammer all on its own is good enough reason to be leery of WotC! Their letting passionate third-parties take over for other settings tho does give me hope that they’re ready to experiment and be bold in making individual settings unique. But I’m also mainly hoping we get at least one new Brom cover as he said he was open to it in an interview I saw on YT not too long ago…
